**1. 对** — 在 Part 2 中，长时间沉默比用 "well / you know / let me see" 等填充词更扣分。

## Section B：

> Yes, I'm really into travelling. The main reason is that it **exposes me to different cultures / broadens my horizons**. For example, last year I **travelled to Japan alone and learned to order food in basic Japanese**.

**6.** Part 2 笔记用 5W1H 法，1 分钟内写下 6 个关键词（以 "Describe a place you like to relax" 为例）：
- **Where** — a quiet café near my home / a riverside park
- **What** — soft music / green trees and benches
- **Who** — go alone / sometimes with a close friend
- **When** — weekend afternoons / after work
- **How (you feel)** — refreshed, peaceful, recharged
- **Why** — escape from noise / clear my mind

## Section C：Task 2

Some people believe that governments should spend more money on public transport rather than building more roads. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

> In many countries, traffic congestion remains a pressing urban problem, and there is growing debate over whether public money should be directed towards public transport or road construction. I largely agree that prioritising public transport is the wiser investment, although road building should not be abandoned entirely.
>
> The strongest argument for funding public transport is that it tackles the root cause of congestion rather than its symptoms. Expanding roads tends to generate extra traffic, a phenomenon known as "induced demand": as soon as a new motorway opens, more people are encouraged to drive, and the roads soon become just as crowded as before. By contrast, a reliable metro or bus network persuades people to leave their cars at home, which reduces both congestion and pollution in the long term. Cities such as Singapore and Tokyo demonstrate that efficient public transport can keep traffic moving even at extremely high population densities.
>
> Furthermore, public transport is more equitable and environmentally friendly. A subsidised bus or train service gives low-income residents affordable mobility, whereas roads primarily benefit car owners. Electrified rail systems also produce far fewer emissions per passenger than private vehicles, helping governments meet their climate targets.
>
> That said, I do not believe road investment should stop completely. Rural areas and industrial zones often lack the passenger numbers to justify a railway line, and freight still depends heavily on the road network. In such cases, maintaining and upgrading existing roads remains essential.
>
> In conclusion, while some road spending is still necessary, the priority should shift decisively towards public transport. This approach addresses congestion more sustainably, promotes fairness, and reduces environmental damage.
