6. 示例：only a handful of visitors / few people turned up / hardly anyone came 等。

The bar chart below shows the number of commuters using four different types of transport (bus, train, bicycle, car) in a city during four seasons of the year.

The bar chart compares how many commuters used four types of transport — bus, train, bicycle and car — in a city across the four seasons of the year.

Overall, the bus was the most popular form of transport for most of the year, while the bicycle was the least used, and its figures varied considerably with the seasons.

The number of bus commuters rose steadily from around 80,000 in winter to a peak of about 120,000 in summer, before falling back slightly in autumn. By contrast, car usage remained relatively stable throughout the year at approximately 90,000, making it the most consistent mode of transport.

Train commuters also showed little change, staying at roughly 60,000 across all four seasons. Bicycle use, however, was strongly seasonal: it reached its highest point of about 50,000 in summer but dropped to a low of just 15,000 in winter, a difference of 35,000 commuters.

In summary, while bus travel was dominant and clearly seasonal, car and train use stayed steady, and cycling remained a minor, weather-dependent option.

使用了 rise steadily / peak / remain stable / drop to a low 等描述变化的动词短语。
