今天是中华人民共和国和泰王国建交43周年纪念日。1975年7月1日，在两国老一辈领导人的亲自关心和推动下，中泰正式建立外交关系，开启了友好合作新纪元。43年来，中泰关系始终保持稳定健康发展势头，成为国家间和睦相处、共同发展的典范。

**英文：**
Today marks the 43rd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the People's Republic of China and the Kingdom of Thailand. Thanks to the care and commitment of leaders of the elder generation, the two countries formally established diplomatic relations on July 1, 1975, and has since then opened up a new page of friendly cooperation. The bilateral relationship has been developing in a sound and stable manner over the past 43 years, setting a good example by co-existing in harmony and pursuing common development.

中泰同为亚洲重要发展中国家，都有着悠久璀璨的历史，两国友好交往源远流长。早在西汉时期，中国就有了关于中泰交往的历史记载，公元10世纪左右两国开始频繁的商贸往来，12世纪就有华人到泰国定居。绵延两千多年的友好往来，形成两国血缘相通、人文相近的"中泰一家亲"深厚情谊。

Both China and Thailand are major developing countries in Asia with time-honored and splendid history. The friendship between the two countries goes back to ancient times. Recorded exchanges between China and Thailand can be traced to the Western Han Dynasty. Frequent business activities between the two countries started around the 10th Century, and there were Chinese relocating in Thailand in the 12th Century. Friendly communication for over 2000 years has made our two countries as close as family.

中泰建交以来的43年，见证了两国的共同成长进步。中国开启改革开放历史征程，走出了一条中国特色社会主义道路，成长为世界第二大经济体和第一大工业国，实现了7亿多人的成功脱贫，连续多年对世界经济增长贡献率超过30%，促进了人类和平与发展事业。与此同时，泰国也在不断探索符合自身国情的发展道路，积极维护政治稳定，促进经济和社会民生发展。泰国是东盟重要成员和第二大经济体，被誉为"亚洲四小虎"之一，积极参与以东盟为中心的区域合作，推动可持续发展等国际合作，是维护地区乃至国际和平、发展、合作的中坚力量。

**英文：**
The past 43 years has given witness to the common progress made by the two countries. China launched reform and opening-up, embarked on the journey of socialism with Chinese characteristics and became the second largest economy and the largest industrial country in the world. It has successfully lifted over 700 million people out of poverty, contributes over 30% to world economic growth for many years in a row, and promotes the cause of peace and development of mankind. In the meantime, Thailand has been exploring the path of development that suits its national conditions, making efforts to maintain political stability, promoting economic and social development and improving people's livelihood. Thailand, reputed as one of the "Tiger Cub Economies", is a major member and the second largest economy of ASEAN. It takes an active part in ASEAN-based regional cooperation and international cooperation on sustainable development, and acts as a strong force upholding peace, development and cooperation of the region and the world at large.

中国所倡导的新型国际关系，强调尊重各国自主选择社会制度和发展道路，尊重彼此核心利益和重大关切，推动走出一条对话而不对抗、结伴而不结盟的国与国交往新路，以实现全球伙伴关系的共赢、多赢。这一理念超越了零和博弈、赢者通吃、恃强凌弱的传统国际关系理论窠臼，是破解时代难题、化解风险挑战的"中国方案"。

**英文：**
The new type of international relationship championed by China emphasizes that countries should respect each other's independent choices of social systems and development paths, respect each other's core interests and major concerns, follow a new mode of state-to-state relationship featuring dialogue rather than confrontation, partnership rather than alignment, so as to achieve win-win and all-win results. This idea transcends traditional theories on international relations, such as zero-sum game, winner-takes-all and playing the bully, and presents a "Chinese approach" to crack difficult problems and defuse challenges and risks.

首先，我们要进一步加强战略对接，坚定支持各自选择适合自身国情的发展道路，推动"一带一路"合作同泰国4.0战略、东部经济走廊规划等在政策、法律、执行等层面深入融合，为更广泛密切的合作创造有利条件。

其次，我们要继续深化和拓展经贸务实合作，既提升传统产业合作的技术含量，也促进新业态、新产业合作，积极拓展现代农业、数字经济、高端制造业、新能源等领域合作，推动铁路合作尽早造福沿线民众。中国将持续推出扩大开放的新举措，欢迎泰方积极参与今年11月在上海举办的首届中国国际进口博览会，愿为泰国商品和服务开拓中国市场搭建平台。

**英文：**
First, we should further increase the complementarity of our development strategies, firmly support each other in choosing the development path that suits respective national conditions, synergize the Belt and Road Initiative with the Thailand 4.0 Strategy and the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) in terms of policy, law and enforcement, creating favorable conditions for broader and closer cooperation.

Second, we should deepen and expand practical cooperation in trade. We should, on the one hand, increase the use of technology in traditional industrial cooperation; and on the other hand, encourage cooperation in new industries, conduct more cooperation in modern agriculture, digital economy, high-end manufacturing, new energy and other fields, and make sure that the high-speed rail cooperation will deliver benefits to people living along the railway line as soon as possible. China will continue to take new measures to enhance opening up. We welcome Thailand's participation in the first China International Import Expo to be held in Shanghai in November this year, and are ready to set up a platform for Thai products and service to tap the Chinese market.

Despite international vicissitudes, as long as the two countries advance hand in hand, their comprehensive strategic partnership of cooperation will withstand the test of times, create more benefits for the two peoples and bring the two countries into a new era of common prosperity and development.
